With BTS Tennis Academy:

Melbourne U.S. College Tennis Pathways Night

For many Australian tennis families, the U.S. college pathway feels unclear.

Scholarships are talked about often, but timelines, eligibility, rankings, and recruiting standards are rarely explained properly.

This in-person session, delivered in partnership with BTS Tennis Academy, breaks down how U.S. college tennis actually works for Australian players — what coaches look for, when recruitment begins, what scholarships really cover, and what athletes aged 14–18 should be doing now.

The aim is simple: clarity before decisions.

Thinking About U.S. College Tennis?

U.S. college tennis opportunities often narrow when preparation starts too late. This session helps players and parents understand realistic level fit, recruiting timelines, academic impact on scholarships, and what should be happening at each stage from Years 9–12.

What This Session Covers

This is a practical walkthrough of the pathway, including:

  • How U.S. college tennis recruiting actually works
  • Scholarship structures (partial vs full reality)
  • Recruiting timelines for Years 9–12
  • What coaches assess beyond rankings
  • Academic eligibility and admissions support
  • Common mistakes junior players make
  • Real examples of Australian athletes placed into U.S. programs
There will also be open Q&A at the end of the session.
