Will Clarkson is the Australia Manager at Platform Sports and has been instrumental in helping student-athletes around the world achieve their college dreams. He comes from the city of Auckland, New Zealand, coming from a lacrosse background - he was the first New Zealand Lacrosse player to compete in the NCAA. Will has personally facilitated over 10 million dollars in scholarship for his student athletes.

He has diligently built a strong recruitment team dedicated to assisting student athletes in finding the right college fit. Will's mission focuses on creating a safe and transparent pathway for each student athlete, tailored to their unique college aspirations.

Jay Harrison is a former NCAA Division I tennis player for Seattle University and an emerging coach-mentor for aspiring college athletes. Competing in the Western Athletic Conference, he balanced academics with top-level collegiate tennis experiences that shaped his approach to performance, resilience, and team culture.

In this webinar, Jay shares what it really takes to earn a U.S. college roster spot as an international recruit, from recruitment and communication to managing travel, training, and academics. He’ll also break down what coaches look for in highlight videos, how to stand out at ID camps, and the key steps from first contact to signing.

What is this webinar about?

This free session is designed to educate parents and athletes on how the US college system works for student athletes. We’ll cover scholarship opportunities, academic requirements, the recruitment process, and what life is like as a student-athlete in the US.

Will this help my child get a scholarship?

Yes! We’ll walk you through how scholarships work for track and field, how to improve your child’s chances, and what college coaches are looking for in both athletes and students.

Do we need to have elite times or rankings to be considered?

Not necessarily. We’ll explain the different levels of college competition (Division 1, Division 2, NAIA, JUCO) and how there are opportunities for a wide range of athletes—not just national champions.

Will you explain the academic requirements too?
